Illustrating

These are a few samples of illustrations I did for the book titled: Trust: What A Horse Taught Me about God, by Marie Timm

The cover of her book was the work of another talented artist, I was the inside illustrator. 

Marie wanted a more simplistic style that focused more on expressions of both the horse and his owner, to show the emotional journey the two of them had together. Through many frustrations the two of them developed an impenetrable bond, which also drew Marie deeper into her relationship with God. I was very honored to be invited to capture their journey in my illustrations! 

This is a simple ball of string drawing I did for author Kai Strand to use as chapter art in her book, "The WEAVER." This little drawing appears at the beginning of each chapter.

And here is another chapter art drawing I did for Kai Strand in 2012 for her book, "The Wishing Well."




Below are a group of illustrations I did for a chapter of a book titled: "Crisis in Our Classroom,"by Jim Murphy. It is a great read for those of you who find yourselves increasingly concerned about today's public education system.
