Art has been a central part of who I am my whole life. My journey began as early as preschool; when basic coloring turned into a life-long passion for drawing. I kept exploring with pastels, watercolor and acrylic, and in high school I finally discovered a deep love for oil painting. I am a trauma survivor, and the gift of art that God wove into my soul got me through some of the darkest moments of my life! It was often my way of coping with things I didn't know how to deal with otherwise. Once I found saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, my new journey towards healing brought brightness, hope, and immense gratitude into my heart. My artwork has been a testament and reflection of that transformation ever since! I am a Pacific Northwest nature artist; born and raised in Oregon. About My Art Blog

There is a story behind every piece of art. My aim is to display the light and beauty that God has poured into my life with everything I do. Many of the subjects I draw and paint are from nature. A lot of my inspiration comes from God's beauty and displayed in nature, so I do a lot of landscape and wildlife pieces. I certainly have an abundance of inspiration too! When you're up in the mountains, you could look at the scenery a hundred times and new beauty is unveiled each time. How much more beautiful and majestic is the God who created it! I will never be able to come close to God's artistry over the earth, but I can use the gifts He's given me to reflect His light and love to others.
